Hospice du Rhone The worlds largest celebration of Rhone varietal wines... Hospice du Rhone. Over 100 wineries from eight countries will converge on the California Mid-Sate Fairgrounds in Paso Robles, California for an incredible weekend of seminars, tastings and meals sure to overwhelm even the most ardent Rhone fan. At Hospice du Rhone not only do attendees enjoy an all-Rhone weekend, but they have the opportunity to do so in the company of some of the world's leading Rhone winemakers. Every winery is represented by the owners or winemakers themselves, giving you the change to discuss French Mourvedre and Alain Dugas, Australian Grenache with Chester Osborn, or Italian Marsanne with Dr. Antonio Bertelli all in the same day. This year marks our Eight Annual celebration and the start of our association with the Hospice of San Luis Obispo, Inc. Not only will the Hospice benefit from the proceeds of the celebration, we have added a very spacial charitable event: our Hospice Barrel Auction. Over the past years, 40 prominent winemakers have been busy crafting premiere barrel lots of Rhone wines especially for this auction. Bidders will have the opportunity to purchase these wines with proceeds being donated to the Hospice of San Luis Obispo, Inc. Attendance to theHospoice du Rhone weekend is limited to the first 500 paid registrants. For tickets or additional information, call or visit their web site at http://www.hospicedurhone.com |
